Twenty Two years ago, I established Kindy Groove with a hand full of lesson plans and cassette tapes.
Today it has evolved to include countless lesson plans with hours of music on ipod; advertising on google, facebook and several publications.

Whilst a background in dance & teaching is helpful, Kindy Groove teachers need to, above all, enjoy interacting with young children, be vibrant, enthusiastic and very energetic.
All lesson plans are developed and documented for teachers to follow so there is no lesson planning involved.
Our teachers need to be capable of working in consultation with kindergarten teachers and childcare workers & management. They also need to be able to incorporate parents who may wish to participate with their children.
Kindy Groove classes are conducted week days, mainly mornings, around Melbourne. As a Kindy Groove teacher, you may be required to host childrens parties on some weekends and/or provide children's entertainment at corporate events.
You will need a reliable car to travel to locations; a wwc card and a current first aid certificate.
Our teachers always remember that the aims of Kindy Groove are to provide a fun activity while enhancing what is already being taught by caregivers at childcare and at home - such as listening, following instructions, co-operation & courtesy.
